The Five Orange Pips Summary

While Watson was talking with Holmes on stormy night, a person visits. John Openshaw, was his name. I’ve come here seeking help, Holmes, said he. He started giving the mystery…….
Openshaw and Earsie were two sons for Johns grandpa. Openshaw was his father. Continuing with the mystery,
John had lived with his uncle Earsie. Once he got a mail with five orange pips in it with a description,

Burn it in the sundial.

Burn it in the sundial????? Not long since his uncle die from receiving the mail. Once again 7 days later receives a mail of the same. His father died.
Investigating,
he found,
the post office address’ were different.
One from Pondicherry, Dune,then London.
Not knowing what to do he visited Holmes.

Holmes suspected a group of rogues KKK(Klu,Klux,Klan )

Too late but, John also was murdered.

The mind-scratching part is that Holmes with his skills which can never be expressed, with his matchless wit, solves the case.
Captain Calhan
The places mentioned were all seaports, so the criminal would be a a captain.
Holmes coming home tired sends 5 pips the same way to Calhan. Later, he informs the cops and they arrested him.

 

Holmes is truly a genius!!!!!!!!
