The speckled band summary.

It was early in the morning, Helen,a client visits Holmes seeking help. A few years before her sister Julia had met a bad fate, death. Sound of whistles were heard by her all night. And one day, a scream was heard from Julia, and the whisper before her death was
Speckled band.
What is the speckled band?

Holmes with Watson went through the investigation, Dr.Roylott was the step father of the girls. Helen sleeps in the same room where Julia did and started feeling the same.
Through thorough investigation, there was found,a dummy bell and an open ventilator. There was a small hole between the chambers. Milk and a iron safe was also found.

 

Holmes understood the case, and hid in Helens room . Soon, a hiss..is heard and Holmes lighting a fire a snake crawls through the bell and the ventilator to the most sarcastic, cruel criminal’s room,Dr Roylott. The snake (speckled band) was one of the most poisonous one and the milk was for the snake, and whistles as signals. The thuds were because of the closing of the iron safe arrogantly by the doctor.

And another , a wonderful case solved by Holmes.
