The Journey begins!
Alright! It was in middle of the night when I woke up and excitedly made myself ready for my adventure… the adventure in Goa!
I went in a big car with my father, mother and my brother. Though big, it was quiet congested. Alright! Pains aside.
We got in the Chennai airport and took our Indigo flight. It took almost 2 hours to reach Goa. It was full of green trees.Amazing!
We got down into Goa airport... and sheesh! No wonder they call it a tourist attraction.
Then we took a cab and moved to our hotel ” Riva Gold Coast”. Sure it has a swimming pool. The hotel was quite large and the buffet was good.
After a long journey, we were really tired. So we took a nap and then visited the Candolim beach. The beach was vast and full of tourists. We took a long walk along the coast enjoying the cool breeze.
It was later that night when tiredly jumped into our beds to snooze.
The next morning, we visited the Mandovi river and took some selfies.

Then, we traveled for an hour and reached another beach. From that beach we went in a boat to have a view of the places from Mandovi.
First we saw a fort which used to be a battle area for the Portuguese… The fort Aguada.

Then we saw the lighthouse… the place which gave light to all the sea trade among the Portuguese.

Then, we saw a place where all the prisoners of the Portuguese were accused in… the central jail.

Later, we saw the biggest house in Goa. One of the richest persons in India owned it…the Millionaire Palace!
Later, we went to another beach to relax…the Baga beach.

Another inspiring fact is that most of the hindi films were shot in Goa. Besides that, the 3rd longest bridge in India is present here.
Later that day, we went on a river Cruise for an hour. It had disco and…
Then, we got a bit dizzy but still curious to know more about. The next place we were about to visit was quite far from the river… it was the spice plantation!
After smelling the wonderful fragrance of the spices, we went to the Mangueshi Temple.
Later that evening, we saw a…a…a…real mummy!
It was the first time we saw a real mummy kept in a church... The basilica holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier.
We didn’t have enough time to go through all the places. But we had a glance of the Chapora Fort, wax museum, etc.
Alright! Don’t judge a book by its cover.
Not only sightseeing but also we played a lot of daring sports.
The one, which was extremely awesome, but DARING, was the parasailing.

The trip was indeed memorable and also relaxing…
I’ll never forget this ADVENTURE!
