Life is like a game of Cricket

Miss the ball, it’ll hit the wicket

The ball was the chance

Missing it, he stands ;

Need not worry, he has 5 more balls

This time he tries, tries to take a call

A call from success, that the ball reached the top

Happy was he but never did he stop ;

Many were amazed, by his awesome shot

The awaiting triumph, inspired him a lot

Again, a helicopter swing

And success did he bring ;

But that’s not the end

There is a slight bend

Another helicopter swing

Made the bell ring ;

The ball was caught

By the person who was stout

The winner lost fame and the fielder did gain

This is life, there is a part called pain ;

But always did he try

And he didn’t lie

He won the next match

This time, his ball made no catch ;

Life is just like cricket

You take a big shot or bring a golden wicket

Choosing not the wicket, but rather the swing shot
