After a long time, I took my Sherlock Holmes novel back after going through Agatha Christie’s Postern of Fate. Both seem to interest me and hence I continue reading both the novels with much interest. Here is one that I read recently- The adventure of the Golden Pince Nez.
Willoughby Smith, an assistant of Professor Coram has been murdered strangely bringing officer Wilson to the crime scene to handle the case. Wilson, after going through a series of investigations finds the case even more strange that he right away visited Holmes seeking help.
Holmes, entering the case and observing the house of the incident finds a lot of people working in the house and also the owner, Professor Coram. The strange talks of the maids and professor himself strengthens the strangeness behind the murder.
Having a deep survey once again, with his pleasing and inevitable tricks, Sherlock Holmes finds out the culprit- Anna.
The reasons behind the murder when revealed shocked him the most…it dates back to the World War…
Looking all over the house to see if the murderer had taken anything, Holmes finds…
The case indeed provided an interesting adventure- The adventure of the Golden Pince Nez!
