I always knew Steve Berry’s novels are splendid with its awesome thriller which made me read this book with pure interest. The story starts with Cotton Malone, the protagonist, working as a book seller in France. As he was a retired agent, he couldn’t resist coming into others affairs to find mysteries and that led him a role to play in Stephanie Nelle’s expedition onto finding the truth behind the Templars- The Templar Legacy…

While these people work on their way onto finding the truth behind the Templar Knights, De Roquefort, a templar, also sets on an expedition to find the same. But the only difference was…

His methods were different! The templar brotherhood, for years agone, has it’s own methods and traditions which includes severe torture and crucifixion…

The story continues with a lot of twists and turns with people working to find the truth and it also gives us an account of Christ and the Gospels making us dive into the world of Christianity, understanding the culture and tradition.

Finding about the Templar Secret could seem not much of a big deal but the secret must be found by Malone and his companions before it falls into the wrong hands that could lead the world to a totally different view of Christianity.
